"I have been advised to treat all beneficiaries equally..."

Kerry has told us repeatedly that:

"To protect myself, I have been advised to treat all beneficiaries equally, so as to not appear to be side-barring or communicating improperly with any one individual and/or select group of beneficiaries. Thus, my silence."

In truth and fact, Kerry did NOT "treat all beneficiaries equally" and was frequently "side-barring" with selected brothers and sisters, "communicating improperly" and making phone calls to some, meeting in person with some, exchanging private e-mails with others in which he discussed aspects of his trust management, expressing his opinions of me and explaining his decisions to a limited number of beneficiaries, while ignoring my requests for information and refusing to respond to any of my personal and public e-mails. These were not simply chatty and non-partisan conversational phone calls and e-mails - Kerry was aggressively attempting to influence the opinions and actions of certain beneficiaries towards support of his position.

Kerry Must Be Removed as Trustee

An inside source has provided us with an e-mail sent by Kerry to Scott on July 12, 2010, which demonstrates quite clearly the way in which Kerry was inappropriately communicating with one beneficiary, while bad-mouthing me personally (although I rather liked the "digital Evil Knievel" remark!):

Scott,

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner--we were out of the country and internet wasn't cheap!

As for Rob's "peaceful compromise and truce" email . . . His two recent private emails I've just forwarded to you and Kalli sent only to the attorneys and me seem really show his true feelings and we think he's just trying to put on a nicey-nice front so people will see him as the great peace-maker and not the digital Evil Knievel that he really is and we are unwilling to play into his games. He continues to claim that, while he doesn't represent anyone but himself, ALL these people are interested in the same things he is--although you are the only one to respond to his latest request--Hmmmmmm . . .

AND, his recent email--true to his form--is a cut-and-paste version of various phrases from the trust and previous correspondences woven together to *look* like it is what was really said, while it is NOT. We continue to NOT trust Rob and plan to NOT release any more information than is required, at this time.

Hope all is well with you guys and sorry we missed Talitha on the East Coast--we were so close . . . Hope she had a GREAT time! :-)

Gloria has told us all that Kerry is a man of "compassion, honesty, integrity and faith"....

If only that were true. Kerry has had little compassion for his family, demonstrated no honesty or integrity in his behavior as trustee, and seems to have faith only in his ability to get away with the theft of Liz's estate and trust. He claims his silence is necessary to protect himself - from what? The truth? And in the meantime he has frequently e-mailed sympathetic family members, visited with some in person, and phoned others (and hung up on a couple!).

What a sad chapter in the Burtis family history.

Who would have imagined a year ago that Kerry would still be refusing to provide to beneficiaries the information he has repeatedly said he is willing to give:

I am willing to prepare and send a report of pre-death information..."

More than a YEAR after Liz's passing...

You should be ashamed, Kerry...
