Elizabeth McGuinness was already in failing health and suffering from advanced Alzheimer's disease when Kerry Burtis and Eden Rose Brown convinced Liz to sign a revised "Revocable Trust Agreement" on July 23, 2008. She died less than sixteen months later. It nevertheless took Eden Rose Brown another two months to send copies of the trust agreement to all of the other ten beneficiaries, arriving just four days before the memorial service. And they sent the wrong document!Excerpts from the trust agreement below demonstrate the incompetence and unprofessional work done by Eden Rose Brown in writing this document. On one page Eden Rose gives Kerry Burtis' share of the estate as "40%" and on the next page she lists it as "39%". Eden Rose Brown could not be bothered to correct these obvious flaws in the trust, even while billing the estate at the rate of $350.00 per hour. |
